Brian Barlow

As founder of BMG in 1991, Brian has been instrumental in working with more than 50 manufacturers to achieve their growth goals. He offers extensive experience in strategic planning, sales and channel development and marketing.
Credentials include: former co-owner of an asphalt components and parts supply house; former co-owner of an international construction equipment manufacturer's sales representative company; member of the (Pit & Quarry Magazine) Stone Summit; AEM executive board member on the Marketing Communications Council and Membership Committee; industry speaker on international and North American sales development and marketing; and experience as a marketing manager for a leading manufacturer pioneering a new technology.

Julie Clark

Julie brings 18 years of experience to BMG, with a strong background in construction and agricultural marketing, communications and training, sales and distribution development, marketing strategy and plans, and program management – including nine years of experience with electronic marketing.
She spent three years at 80/20, a manufacturing company that produces an aluminum framing product for a wide range of industrial applications, where she managed three divisions – including Marketing/New Product Development, CAD Operators and Engineering, and the Value-Add Construction Department. As Marketing Manager, Julie was responsible for print and electronic design, multiple Web site developments, electronic marketing, distributor training and marketing, brand and image awareness, eBay and other online sales, and a wide range of Web casts.
Prior to that, Julie spent 15 years with Tuthill Transfer Systems, which specializes in fuel transfer tanks, chemical and hand pumps, and flow meters. She managed the marketing department, as well as the company’s distribution training and marketing, Web site development, retail POP visuals and programs, electronic marketing, promotional advertising and Web optimization programs. She worked directly with contractors, farmers and distribution retail outlets. For two years, Julie worked on the SAP implementation team and IT development.

Troy Scroggins

Troy offers more than 12 years of marketing and product management experience within the construction equipment and farm machinery industries. His experience includes strategic planning, market and product research and multiple channel sales development.
Troy was with Belarus Machinery (agricultural tractors) as marketing manager after earning a Business Administration Degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin. He entered the construction equipment industry as product manager for construction equipment wire cable manufacturer MacWhyte. Prior to joining BMG, Troy spent 6 years in various marketing roles with Wacker Corporation (a market leader in light construction equipment). His last position was Senior Marketing Analyst.

Kerry Johnson

Kerry has been actively involved in the marketing communications business for the past 10 years. His responsibilities include Web site development, interactive media, creative concepting, print production and server management. With previous employers, he produced several pieces for two automotive manufacturers, including Dana and Keihin Indiana Precision Technology. He also takes a very proactive approach to learning new tools of the trade and staying informed about industry trends, including the print and interactive media business. |
