A manufacturer who had been relatively unsuccessful in selling premium-priced hydraulic lift trailers through the rental market asked BMG to determine a new approach. Through extensive research, analysis and determination, BMG found an obscure dealer network dedicated to retailing high-quality material handling and access equipment to contractors, utilities, public works and other niche customers. BMG contacted the dealer network and introduced them to this higher-quality lift trailer. BMG helped establish the pricing and terms and turned all leads over to the manufacturer’s regional managers for follow-up. Sales have increased significantly through this new channel and other efforts.
